Abstract

This study aims at an understanding on the actual situation of the "mutual extension" system, at attached junior high schools. We asked for some information to teachers engaged in technical and homemaking education by questionnaires. The results were as follows. 1) The typical contents of "mutual extension" were "Foods" for male students and "Woodworking" or "Electricity" for female students. 2) The typical school years of "mutual extension" were in the first grade. 3) And learning style of "mutual extension were coeducational. We also appreciate "mutual extension" system by coeducation and we are planning to implement the "mutual extension" system by coeducation starting 1988 at our attached junior high school
